Net zero
What we can offer your school: We know our young people care passionately about the environment and want to help them understand the effect of climate change. We run fun, free learning sessions which are interactive and engaging and can be delivered through assemblies, lessons, presentations, or a full day of activities. We also produce resources for you to continue to use in your teaching or for STEM and Eco clubs.
All of our sessions have been developed with the current curriculum and exam board specifications in mind, to ensure that they are relatable to your own school objectives. Alongside opportunities for your students, we can also offer staff CPD sessions to provide you with up to- date information about the gas industry.
There are over 20 fun, interactive workshops to choose from – tailored to either primary or secondary school students.
Students can design their own energy island; power model cars using hydrogen in a fuel cell; take part in an escape-room session that explores climate change and future energy; conduct a greenhouse effect experiment; create a net zero business and pitch it to a Dragons Den panel; find out about carbon capture – and much more besides.
Our fantastic education team can even work with your school to develop a bespoke learning session and workshops can be adapted for Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students.
