Working in partnership

Our partners are vital links to the communities and households we are seeking to help.

They are best placed to provide independent professional support that people can trust.

How we do this

Our role is to empower our partners to consistently deliver the support we can offer to those who need it most.

We work with more than 90 charities and community organisations.  They range from small, localised groups to large, national charities.

We co-design VCMA projects with our partners, using their trusted relationships with clients to directly deliver services through a range of channels.

To ensure consistent project delivery, we hold regular reviews with partners – both in person and virtual.  This helps us monitor progress and adapt, where necessary, so our projects deliver best possible value for the communities we serve

Working together

Our bi-monthly partner networking calls are partner led and offer an opportunity for peer support and sharing of  best practice. We also host a specific networking meeting for our Centre for Warmth partners.

Through our annual ‘Supporting Communities Together’ open days, our partner organisations get to meet one another, share ideas and forge their own partnerships. The open day shows how VCMA acts as a catalyst for new partnerships and projects.

Going above and beyond

As well as supporting our projects to maximise their delivery through VCMA, we also assist in developing their longer-term sustainability and resilience.

As part of our projects, we invest in supporting our partners, so they build the skills and expertise to evaluate their own projects.

We empower them understand social impact measurement so they can demonstrate the success and positive impact of their projects.

In addition to helping us successfully track our projects, it ensures that the charities and organisations we work with are well placed to secure further income from other funding sources so they can continue to deliver support long into the future.

Work with us

Could you help us reach more people living in vulnerable situations across our region and provide them with the help and support they need?

We are keen to develop our network of impactful partners who share our values, our vision – where everyone has a home that is safe and warm – and are committed to meeting the immediate needs of customers and supporting them into the future.

Let's partner together

As a partner, you’ll help us engage and support hard-to-reach groups, overcome barriers, and provide advice to those most in need.

Our experienced team will explore where we may be able to work together on opportunities that benefit the communities we serve, in line with our Vulnerability Strategy.
