Northern Gas Networks (NGN), the gas distributor for the North of England, is carrying out repair work on gas pipes in Prudhoe, Northumberland.
This work will ensure the continued safe and reliable supply of gas to customers in Prudhoe, keeping homes and businesses safe, warm and connected.
So that engineers can carry out the work safely and efficiently, and to protect the public, some temporary traffic management measures will be put in place.
Traffic lights are currently in place at the junction of West Road/B6395 and Beech Grove S while our teams work on Beech Grove S. Residents of Beech Grove S are currently unable to park on their street.
The gas supply to homes and businesses in the area is unaffected.
Andrew Coates, Site Manager at Northern Gas Networks, said: “We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during these essential repair works. Our investigations are ongoing and we’ll provide a completion date for these works as soon as we can.”
