Electrical Engineering Apprentice - Gas Networks

Learn how systems that monitor and control the gas network operate.

As an Electrical Engineering Apprentice, you’ll work as part of our engineering teams to maintain, repair and install the electrical systems that keep our gas network running safely and efficiently.

You’ll learn how to diagnose faults, use specialist equipment and work on critical infrastructure in a wide range of environments.

No, you don’t need any previous experience to apply.

Our apprenticeships are designed for people who are starting their careers, so we’re looking for potential, not perfection. You’ll be supported from day one and taught everything you need to succeed on the programme.
What qualifications do I need?

Entry requirements will vary depending on the role, but typically you’ll need a minimum level of GCSEs (or equivalent), which can include Maths, English and a Science.

What is a gas apprentice and what do they do?
