If you’d like to disconnect or reconnect your gas supply in preparation for new Semi Concealed or Built in Meter Boxes, one of our engineers will temporarily disconnect your service pipe (the small pipe that connects your meter to the gas main in the street) before your own tradesman removes the old box.  They’ll then reconnect your service pipe once your new box is installed. You will be responsible for both the purchase of the new box and getting your meter reconnected to your internal pipework by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
