Please do not attempt to turn off your supply at the meter if either of the following scenarios apply to you:
- You live in a block of flats or occupy a multi storey building.
- Your service pipe – the pipe that extends from your meter and connects it to the gas main in the street is 3” in diameter or more. This is often the case for industrial and commercial properties and public buildings.
