Ofgem, the energy regulator, has decided to remove the funding scheme for new connections from all Gas Distribution Networks in Great Britain. As a result, the prices for new connections will change from 1 January 2026. 

If your new gas service connection application is already progressing or you have a scheduled installation date, there’s nothing more you need to do.
