Call the National Gas Emergency Service number on 0800 111 999* immediately. Keep this number handy and ring it immediately if you smell gas or suspect a deadly carbon monoxide leak.
Call your gas supplier – their number can be found at the top of your energy bill. If you have an annual care plan with your gas supplier they will fix any problems you might have with your gas appliances and pipework. Unsure of your supplier? Find out via the ‘Find my supplier’ online tool.

Keep the number of your gas boiler service contract provider, gas supplier (the company name at the top of your gas bill), or contact details for a Gas Safe Registered engineer to hand in case your gas boiler breaks down or shows an error message.
