Gas connections New connections Funding help

Looking to connect to our network?

We provide new gas connections services to much of Yorkshire, the North East and northern Cumbria. Our experienced Connections team will help you every step of the way, from providing you with a quote and design plan to laying the pipe, filling in the hole and leaving everything as we found it.

There are lots of companies who can help you to get connected, alter existing pipework or disconnect services, they are known as Utility Infrastructure Providers (UIP’s). You can find out more on the Lloyds Register website.

If you’re struggling financially, we can help you get connected. We may also be able to get you funding for a new heating system.

Our eligibility criteria

  • You live in an existing dwelling, and
  • Meet our assessment criteria of your household income and heating costs, or
  • A member of your household receives certain
    benefits, or
  • You live in an area eligible for support,
    as designated by the energy regulator.
