Important information: Potential delay to your meter installation

Between 19 May and 6 June, it may take longer than usual to arrange the meter installation with your gas supplier. This is because of an Ofgem initiative to replace the IT systems used across the UK gas market. It involves all gas suppliers and will ultimately make it easier for you to switch supplier and/or get a smart meter. You can find more information about Project Nexus on Ofgem’s website.

Haworth gas loss update: supplies being restored

Gas supplies are being restored this evening (Friday April 24) to properties on West Lane, Hobb Lane and Lumfoot in Haworth.

Approximately 160 properties were affected earlier today, due to engineering complications during mains replacement work in the area.

A spokesperson from Northern Gas Networks said: “Our apologies to customers who have been inconvenienced today. We’re now restoring supplies, and aim to have all occupied properties back on gas this evening.”
