The North of England’s gas distributer, Northern Gas Networks (NGN), is planning works in Ovingham, near Newcastle, set to start in June.

In order to carry out the work safely and efficiently, a number of important traffic management measures will need to take place.

To explain fully the plans and the impact on the community, a drop-in information session has been arranged at The Reading Rooms, Ovingham on the 1st of June 2023 between 2-6pm.

Residents and local businesses are invited to come along, see the plans and hear about how NGN will work to keep disruption to a minimum.

Steve Piggott Site Manager at Northern Gas Networks said: “We understand the disruption due to essential works impacts on everyday lives and naturally some people will have questions, this is why we are setting aside time go through the plans with anyone who wishes to attend the drop-in session.”

For further information please contact NGN’s Customer Care Team on 0800 040 7766 or email: customercare@northerngas.co.uk.
