Northern Gas Networks is owned by a consortium of three partners, as shown:


All three owners are committed to building on the network's inheritance of providing safe and reliable operations, and to establishing Northern Gas Networks as a socially responsible corporate citizen in the region.

The company will develop a culture of sustained high performance, delivering continuous improvement to the benefit of customers, consumers, employees and shareholders.


Cheung Kong Infrastructure (CKI) is the largest publicly listed diversified infrastructure company in Hong Kong and is one of the largest investors in China's infrastructure. Its three core business activities are energy, materials and transportation.

CKI has business interests in more than 40 counties around the world and has a total of 200,000 employees and has a market capitalisation of approximately £3.9 billion.

In the UK CKI also owns the Cambridge Water Company.


Power Assets Holdings LimitedPower Assets Holdings Limited owns and operates a vertically integrated electricity generation, transmission and distribution business in Hong Kong.

Power Assets Holdings Limited is 38.9% owned by CKI and in partnership they own three electricity distribution networks in southern Australia.

It is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange with a market capitalisation of approximately £5.3 billion. The group has around 2,100 employees .


The SAS Trustee CorporationThe SAS Trustee Corporation is a pension fund for government employees in the state of New South Wales in Australia. It has net assets of approximately £11.2 billion. It is a member of the Deutsche Bank Group.
