| Description and Updates : | Mains replacement project. Phase One
Barbican Road: Will be closed to all traffic between Wellington Street and Paragon Street. This closure will be in place for the duration of the work. A signposted diversion will be in place.
Phase Two -w/c 24th May
Walmgate Bar: No access onto Lawrence Street or Barbican Road. The left turn onto Foss Islands Road is unaffected; however, a give-way system will be in use.
Lawrence Street: Will be closed for approximately three weeks, after this time there will be no right turn onto Foss Islands Road and no access to Walmgate Bar.
Barbican Road: No right turn onto Lawrence Street.
Foss Islands Road: Will be restricted to one lane on the approach to Lawrence Street / Walmgate Bar and Barbican Road. No left turn onto Lawrence Street.
