Mark Horsley
Chief Executive Officer

Mark Horsley took up the role of Chief Executive Officer of Northern Gas Networks on January 4th, 2011.

He has more than 30 years experience in the energy industry and was previously a Partner at EC Harris, an international built asset consultancy. Prior to that he was a Director at Scottish Power.

Mark Horsley is originally from York and began his career as an apprentice with the North Eastern Electricity Board. He rose through the ranks to become the President and Chief Operating Officer of CE Electric UK in 2003, running the Yorkshire and Northern power distribution businesses, gas operations in Poland and Australia and a power contracting business in the UK and Ireland.
