The Gas distributor for the North of England

Assisted Domestic Connections Scheme

Are you eligible for help towards the cost of your connection?

Northern Gas Networks is tackling some of the issues caused by increasing energy prices and the growth of Fuel Poverty in the UK. Northern Gas Networks has partnered up with a Community Interest Company (CIC); Community Energy Solutions, a non profit distributing organisation which operates in the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside to develop and deliver innovative renewable energy projects within the Northern Gas Networks’ region.

If you meet any of the criteria set out below, you may be entitled to receive an assisted connections voucher which will either partially, or completely cover the cost of a new gas connection.

To see if you are eligible for this help, you will need to contact Community Energy Solutions to complete an assessment form.   They will determine whether you qualify.  This is delivered by Go Warm, a subsidiary organisation of Community Energy Solutions.

There are two ways of completing the assessment form. You can either contact Community Energy Solutions by telephone on 08444 999944 or you can complete an online assessment form on the Go Warm website by clicking here.

Once you have submitted your online form, a representative will contact you.
