Our Northern Green Networks scheme is now in its fifth year and has donated more than £200,000 to environmental projects across the North of England.
The scheme is designed to support community groups, schools and charities which are carrying out grass roots environmental projects in their local area. In the past five years funding has been awarded to around 80 groups from across the region carrying out a range of environmental projects ranging from bat monitoring in Berwick upon Tweed to community allotment projects in Bradford.
