Your gas supplier is responsible for providing a meter and organising for your meter to be read.  If you have any queries regarding the type of meter installed in your premises, any questions regarding your prepayment meter or any enquiry regarding your meter reading you should contact your gas supplier.  You will find contact details for your gas supplier on your gas bill.

If you ever smell gas from your meter or anywhere elsewhere call the
National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
