Important information: Potential delay to your meter installation

Between 19 May and 6 June, it may take longer than usual to arrange the meter installation with your gas supplier. This is because of an Ofgem initiative to replace the IT systems used across the UK gas market. It involves all gas suppliers and will ultimately make it easier for you to switch supplier and/or get a smart meter. You can find more information about Project Nexus on Ofgem’s website.

Essential repair work – Bramley, Leeds

Northern Gas Networks is carrying out essential work to repair a gas main in the Bramley area of Leeds.

In order to carry out this work safely and efficiently, it will be necessary to close Wyther Lane between Bridge Street and Broad Lane from 8.00pm Friday 14 February to 8.00pm Sunday 16 February. Diversions are in place.

Richard Hynes Cooper, Customer Operations Area Manager for Northern Gas Networks said, “Please be assured that we are working hard to complete this essential work as quickly as possible, with minimum disruption to motorists.

“We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.”
