Northern Gas Networks (NGN), the gas distributer for the north of England, will be carrying out essential gas mains repair works at Tingley Roundabout.
The project is due to begin on Sunday August 14 and is expected to take around one week to complete.
Gas supply to customers will not be affected.
In order to carry out the work as safely and efficiently as possible, some traffic management measures will be necessary.
Two of the four lanes at the roundabout will be temporarily closed when works begin, however drivers will then be able to use three of the lanes after initial works are completed.
Site manager for Northern Gas Networks Brad Metcalf said: “We’ve worked closely with Leeds City Council to carefully plan this essential work during the school holidays, in order to minimise disruption to road users.
“We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused, but thank our customers for their patience and understanding.”
Customers who require more information about the project should contact the Customer Care team on 0800 040 7766 or email customercare@northerngas.co.uk
